Job summary

Beusa Energy Group in The Woodlands, TX seeks an experienced Communications Specialist to develop and execute internal and external communication strategies that support organizational goals, engage employees, and strengthen the Beusa Family of Companies’ brand.

The role requires tactful communication, strong writing skills, and meticulous attention to detail; collaborate with HR, marketing, and business development to maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels and support crisis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or internal communications.
• Strong working knowledge of AP Style.
• Demonstrated experience in media relations and PR strategy.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with SharePoint or intranet platforms.
• Ability to navigate corporate/affiliate structures and apply brand guidelines.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative, cross-functional mindset; crisis communications experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal communication plans aligned with business objectives.
• Draft and edit employee communications, including announcements, newsletters, leadership messaging, and intranet content.
• Partner with HR to support change management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines and approval workflows.
• Support internal channels, such as intranet and newsletters, and recommend improvements for effectiveness.
• Assist with external communication strategies, including drafting press releases and public messaging as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development to maintain consistent brand voice across communications.
• Support development of the organizational newsletter.
• Assist with crisis communication preparation and response as needed.
• Perform other related duties to assist with operations and business continuity.
