The City of Kirkland is seeking a Temporary Communications Manager to lead citywide internal and external programs. You will plan, organize, and manage public information activities for the City, including media relations, public involvement, and emergency communications.

This exempt, full-time role reports to the City Manager's Office, located at City Hall in Kirkland, WA, with an anticipated end date of December 31, 2027.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in communications/public relations, journalism or related field.
• Five years progressively responsible experience in public communications or media relations.

• Advises City Council and City Manager on communication strategies.
• Coordinates media relations and public information activities.
