Job summary

The State of Vermont is seeking a Communications & Outreach Coordinator within the Workforce Development Division to coordinate communication efforts across regions and partner organizations. You will develop messaging, create content for multiple channels, and support outreach activities including job fairs and workshops.

This role requires translating complex programs into accessible communications, collaborating across teams, managing priorities, and contributing to broader department

Qualifications

• Two years or more of experience in communications, public or media relations, marketing, policy writing, or consumer education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication efforts across WFD and regional teams.
• Develop messaging and content for diverse audiences and platforms.
• Support outreach initiatives across Vermont with promotional materials and events.
• Serve on the department's communications team and assist with public information and FOIA requests.
