Job summary

Catapult is supporting the NC Chamber by hiring a Communications Manager in Raleigh, NC. This full-time hybrid role leads communications strategy and execution for Infrastructure, Growth, and agriculture initiatives across the NC Chamber and Foundation.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and strategic communicator who can translate complex policy and research into clear messaging for diverse audiences. Government/public affairs and policy experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, political science or related field is required.
• Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in communications, public affairs, journalism, government affairs or related field is required.
• Exceptional writing, editing and strategic communications skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead communications strategy and execution for NC Chamber priorities, focusing on Infrastructure and Growth and agriculture.
• Develop messaging and plans to elevate the NC Chamber's voice on business issues.
• Translate complex policy and research into clear communications for diverse audiences.
