Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Communications Lead in Memphis to coordinate communications and outreach with local communities and internal stakeholders. The role focuses on developing strategies that highlight how artificial intelligence will support SpaceX and its affiliates’ positive community impact.

The ideal candidate will be a strong verbal and written communicator with strategic thinking, capable of managing multiple projects, and willing to work extended hours. Onsite in Memphis, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in communications, events, or content development.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical public relations support, including logistical planning and execution, and maintain relationships with key community partners and stakeholders.
• Develop communication strategies to excite the public about SpaceX and its mission and positive community impact.
• Support SpaceX executives during speaking engagements and events with training and presentation assets.
• Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support key initiatives.
• Develop and implement communication programs in response to strategic priorities and crisis situations.
