Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Director of Commercial & Wealth Communications to lead a strategic external positioning platform for our U.S. Commercial Bank and crossover to Wealth.

You will shepherd a team of professionals and vendors, crafting communications that align with our standards, values, and risk controls. You will collaborate with stakeholders, oversee executive communications, and apply an integrated communications lens to engage business owners and leaders while measuring impact

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant communications experience.
• Integrated communications experience required.
• B2B marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a positioning platform and supporting program for BMO’s U.S. Commercial Bank and Wealth segment.
• Lead a team of professionals and partners to deliver results that support consideration for BMO.
• Provide strategic external communication counsel to senior leadership to build the broader brand and reputation.
• Collaborate across communications, media relations, marketing and business partners to achieve positioning goals.
• Use analytics and competitive benchmarking to measure success and demonstrate impact.
