As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll develop creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to drive new capabilities and processes.
As the organizational advisor of all aspects of oral and written communications, you’ll oversee and author capability briefs, standard operating procedures for new applications and tools, and web site content. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound.

Experience with developing strategic communication plans, executive-level materials, or training materials
Knowledge of Agile processes
Ability to coordinate requirements with multiple stakeholders
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Ability to brief senior leadership
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Experience with working in classified environments for defense clients
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and IT-related topics such as cloud environments, systems availability, and data management
Ability to manage a team
PMP or Security+ certification
Bachelor's degree in a Communications or IT-related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
