Job summary

The Simplot Company in Boise, Idaho is hiring a Communications Assistant to support content development, publishing, and employee engagement across Global Food communications. This on-site, full-time role works with the Communications and Employee Experience teams to deliver campaigns and manage communications assets.

You will coordinate content production, calendars, and channel governance while ensuring brand standards are followed and projects stay on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4-year college or university.
• 1+ years related experience and/or training.
• Strong written and verbal communication across audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, and Canva.

Responsibilities

• Develop, format and publish engaging content across Global Food communication channels (intranet, newsletters, email, social media).
• Coordinate projects, timelines, approvals and distribution to ensure campaigns run smoothly.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, town halls and community sponsorships.
• Maintain brand standards and governance of communication channels, templates and assets.
