Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services (ATS) is hiring a Communications Specialist / Content Manager with TS/SCI w/ Polygraph in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on strategic communications and digital content management, including Joomla web development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in strategic communications, content development, and web page/newsletter production, ensuring accessibility and regulatory compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Experience with SharePoint, WordPress, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft OneNote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and distribute internal communications aligned with strategic messaging
• Draft and publish workforce messages promoting FO events such as All Hands meetings
• Gather and summarize key topics for the weekly newsletter to engage the workforce
• Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, and technical teams to develop and update digital content
• Create and implement visually appealing, user-friendly web pages and newsletters
• Ensure compliance with Section 508, GDPR, CCCA, and other regulatory standards
• Identify and resolve website issues, coordinating with IT and external vendors as needed
• Gather content requirements and update web text, images, videos, and multimedia
• Provide editorial quality control and support mass email distribution via EDGE Mass Email Tool
• Work with various stakeholders to develop and deploy new communication strategies
• Act as a technical liaison between users, managers, and developers
