Job description

Luminate is a global foundation working to ensure that everyone – especially those who are underrepresented - has the information, rights, and power to influence the decisions that shape society. It was established by philanthropists Pierre and Pam Omidyar and has worked for over a decade on issues related to governance and citizen engagement.

Luminate is seeking a Strategic Communications Associate to manage our website, newsletter, email campaigns, and social media channels. The candidate will be responsible for writing, curating, editing, and publishing content across these channels to promote our mission. The ideal candidate will have several years' experience in managing digital channels and creating compelling content for a comparable organisation. The Associate will also provide general communications support for the team.

We're looking for someone with exceptional writing and editing skills, a great eye for detail, who is process driven, can work in support of multiple partners and projects simultaneously, who has a proven track record in developing and running content creation across web, social media, and video, and a dedication to serving the team’s priorities. You'll collaborate effectively with team members to support their communication needs and ensure consistency of messaging and branding.
