Job summary

Accenture Strategy is seeking a Strategy Consultant with a strong background in finance or energy markets to advise clients on investment and trading strategies. You will apply state-of-the-art quantitative analysis, analytics, and risk management techniques to help clients improve investments, trading, and risk management outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the consulting industry or equivalent in an internal consulting role, or minimum 4 years of experience working in the Energy industry within commodity markets or investment banking.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MBA or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on asset portfolios including corporate restructuring, capital planning, and balance-sheet optimization.
• Provide energy consulting to navigate the energy transition and develop market outlooks.
• Help commodity trading organizations set up and expand trading and risk management activities.
• Lead project teams to shape investment/divestment transactions and create agile business models.
• Lead analysis to grow product margin, boost supply certainty, and reduce volatility.
• Use data models and analytics to craft strategies for entering new markets.
• Strengthen client relationships to position Accenture as a long-term advisor.
• Lead teams in driving insights and recommendations using data visualization tools.
• Manage junior members of the Strategy team.
