Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for critical electrical and control panel components. You will drive RFQs/RFPs, negotiate contracts, and ensure ERP data accuracy to support quoting and purchasing execution.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement within industrial manufacturing, with experience reading BOMs and working with ERP systems. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Experience with metals, copper, and electrical components preferred.
• Experience with supplier scorecards and KPI tracking.
• Ability to read and interpret BOMs and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with growth, cost, and operations goals.
• Lead sourcing events (RFQs/RFPs), supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance (OTD, quality, cost) and capacity planning.
• Own supplier data in ERP for quoting, planning, and purchasing execution.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and long-lead dependencies.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives including value engineering and should-cost analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Estimating to support quoting and BOM accuracy.
• Monitor market trends (steel, copper, electrical components) and adjust sourcing strategies.
• Support production ramp-ups with supplier readiness and capacity alignment.
• Implement and maintain supplier scorecards and continuous improvement plans.
