Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Food Industry, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in food procurement or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of commodity markets and supply/demand fundamentals.
• Financial acumen linking market events to business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration in matrixed environments.
• Knowledge of contract management and Source-to-Pay processes (e.g., SAP, KYOS).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze relevant commodity markets with a NA focus.
• Serve as internal SME on commodity market movements and trends.
• Translate market trends into actionable procurement strategies.
• Define and execute hedging strategies for risk mitigation.
• Identify and mitigate supply and price risks across time horizons.
• Advise stakeholders on purchase timing, contracts, and exposure.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Marketing and Pricing on insights.
