Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an associate degree with equivalent years of relevant experience.
• Mid-level knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced functions.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent follow through.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigates discrepancies in receiving and shipping orders, timely resolving invoicing issues to ensure proper payment based on payment terms.
• Processes purchase orders with distributors to meet production and inventory requirements.
• Tracks commodity inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and prevent shortages or excess.
• Monitors and reports on lead times, delivery schedules, and order status.
• Evaluates supplier quotes, bids, and proposals to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Assists members of the purchasing team to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
• Provides administrative and analytical support for commodity-related projects.
• Collaborates with vendors to support Tool Room inventory control practices and ensure the timely availability, accuracy, quality, and cost-effectiveness of tools, tooling components, consumables, and related materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
