Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking a Buyer at our Fremont, California location to join our Global Supply Chain team.

You will help ensure timely delivery of materials and support operations across multiple sites while promoting best procurement practices and leveraging ERP/MRP systems. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in business or engineering and 2–5 years of relevant experience, with exposure to Oracle, SAP or Agile PLM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred.
• 2-5 years relevant experience or a combination thereof.
• Experience working in ERP (MRP) & PLM systems; Oracle, SAP and Agile preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion and influence best procurement practices and use of software and new technology.
• Manage deliveries and escalations of the assigned commodity and suppliers across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Maintain accurate ERP records, quote, and item master.
• Execute purchase orders to suppliers in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate delivery information in the ERP system and in alignment with MRP requirements.
• Establish daily working relationships with suppliers and manage changing priorities and escalations.
