Job summary

Go McPherson Career Center is seeking a strategic Controller to lead financial operations at McPherson College. The role involves ensuring fiscal integrity and compliance, overseeing the general ledger, and guiding the financial services team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and over 6 years of management experience, preferably in a non-profit environment. Benefits include generous PTO, 403(b) retirement, and medical insurance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting and management experience, preferably in higher education.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and applicable regulations.
• Experience supervising and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the general ledger and daily operations of the Business Office.
• Prepares monthly financial and budget reports.
• Leads budgeting process and external audits.
