Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Strategic Cloud Engineer for Security and Compliance to guide customers adopting Google Cloud Platform services. You will provide best practices for secure foundational implementations, automate provisioning, and design cloud-ready architectures.

You will collaborate with product teams to drive excellence across Google Cloud offerings and interact with CIOs and CISOs in senior leadership circles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
• Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep domain expertise in cloud security & compliance and be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex cloud security & compliance challenges.
• Work with customers to design and develop cloud security architectures and solutions to meet and exceed their security requirements, through discussions, strategic presentations/recommendations, and implementation in Google Cloud environment.
• Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.
• Manage disparate senior stakeholders within customer environments to deliver consensus and drive positive customer outcomes on the Google Cloud platform.
• Travel regularly (up to 30%), although we also frequently use video conferencing, for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
