Job summary

Google Cloud's Mandiant team is seeking a Principal Strategic Security Consultant to lead and support client security programs, assess and test security postures, and provide guidance on industry best practices. You will drive technical strategy and scale capabilities, leveraging Google Cloud to architect systems and influence cross-functional teams.

Remote eligible with a flexible location strategy; candidates may be located in Virginia, California or other U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/InfoSec, or related field.
• 8 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
• 8 years of experience delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build and modernize strategic consulting tools for reliability, latency, and productivity at scale.
• Lead architectural evolution of consulting workflows and infrastructure for scalability and security.
• Drive strategy for integrating Google's internal development ecosystem with Mandiant Consulting practices.
• Partner with Consulting Operations, Strategic Consulting, and Google engineering leaders to define the ICBM team's mission at Mandiant.
• Coach and mentor consultants to foster technical excellence and growth.
