Job summary

NFP Corp in Chicago seeks a VP, Management Liability & Cyber Claims Advocate to consult on complex claims for sophisticated corporate clients. The role emphasizes strategic coverage analysis, advocacy, and guidance throughout claims lifecycles, working with brokers, underwriters, and counsel.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in management liability and cyber claims, exceptional writing and communication skills, and a track record in delivering client-centric outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of management liability claims experience.
• Experience interpreting insurance policy language and analyzing complex coverage issues.
• Ability to independently evaluate claims and formulate sound coverage recommendations.
• Excellent writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong client relationship skills and commitment to service.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and evaluate new claims and potential claims.
• Analyze policy language across management liability and cyber products.
• Provide coverage commentary on strengths, gaps, and enhancement opportunities.
• Develop persuasive coverage analyses and advocacy strategies.
• Coordinate with insurers, defense counsel, brokers, and other professionals.
• Monitor claims through resolution and inform clients of developments.
