Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a strategic Chief Information Security & Technology Officer (CISO) reporting to the CIO with a dotted line to the Chief Compliance Officer. This role leads the design and execution of the organization’s information security program, aligning security with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

The CISO will oversee risk assessments, policy enforcement, incident response, vendor relations, and security governance across Renown Health’s IT and facilities.

Qualifications

• Expertise in security with business continuity, DR, auditing and risk management.
• Knowledge of firewall, IDS/IPS, encryption and related security technologies.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for security strategies and implementation.
• Lead enterprise IT security programs, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
• Manage vendor contracts and monitor performance.
• Advise executives on security threats and risk mitigation.
