Job summary

A leading specialty subcontractor in Providence, Rhode Island is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team and drive financial strategy and operational performance during a generational transition. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of finance and accounting leadership experience, preferably in project-based industries. This on-site role offers a competitive base salary range of $250,000 to $300,000 along with bonus opportunities based on performance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• Experience in construction or project‑based industries preferred.
• Strong expertise in job costing and WIP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial operations including month‑end close.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Develop and deliver financial insights and KPIs to leadership.
