Job summary

Veridian Credit Union seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead Internal Audit, Accounting, and Finance, shaping strategic direction and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role reports to the executive team and works with the Board to drive performance and governance.

The CFO will manage budgeting, risk assessment, and reporting across divisions, oversee investments and ALM strategies, and partner with key committees and vendors to advance Veridian's objectives. Extensive travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Five years of leadership/management experience or ten years of related experience with increasing responsibilities.
• CPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic direction for Internal Audit, Accounting, and Finance divisions.
• Collaborate with Management Team on special projects and reports.
• Oversee annual operating budget development and alignment with long-range plans.
• Lead asset and liability management strategies and investment considerations.
• Interact with board, executives, and committees to communicate performance and risk.
