Job summary

The Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial operations, accounting, budgeting, and planning for MCCH and Coalition Homes.

Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will partner with senior leaders to align resources with the organization's mission to end homelessness, ensure GAAP compliance, and support sustainable housing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Lead all aspects of finance, accounting, budgeting, financial planning, audit, compliance, risk management.
• Develop long-term financial strategy and capital investments.
• Present financial reports to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Finance Committee, and Board.
• Collaborate with COO, Program Officer, External Affairs, and Community Impact to align resources.
• Ensure GAAP, FASB, Uniform Guidance compliance for nonprofit accounting.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Foster financial literacy across managerial levels.
• Lead organizational budgeting and resource allocation processes.
• Manage cash flow, investments, debt, and insurance coverage.
