Job summary

Crescent Search, Inc. is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for a community bank. The CFO will direct financial goals, reporting, liquidity, and regulatory filings while partnering with the CEO and Board on strategic growth.

The role requires 10+ years in banking finance, with at least 5 years in senior leadership. Strong GAAP expertise, ALCO leadership, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Master’s degree and CPA, MBA, CFA certifications preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial experience in banking, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for Board, executive team, and regulators.
• Oversee accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Ensure accounting practices follow GAAP.
• Chair or co-chair ALCO to manage balance sheet, interest rate risk, and liquidity.
• Monitor net interest margin, optimize deposits, and manage investments.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting; partner with exec team on growth plans.
