Job summary

Michaud Cooley Erickson (MCE) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead finance, accounting, HR, IT, legal, and compliance. The role reports to the President and requires in-office presence five days a week as a key member of the executive team.

The CFO will drive fiscal discipline, strategic investment, and robust internal controls while shaping our financial future and mentoring leaders across departments. Strong US GAAP knowledge and executive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• MBA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Proven success in senior-level management with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and executive guidance.
• Direct accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Oversee tax planning, compliance, and audits.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, investment strategies, and internal controls.
• Lead risk mitigation across legal, HR, operations and data security.
• Foster accountability, mentorship, and continuous improvement while upholding core values.
