Job summary

NOW CFO in Houston is seeking a CFO with FP&A experience to oversee the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for our clients. The ideal candidate holds a finance-related degree (CPA or CFA strongly preferred), extensive financial modeling skills, and exceptional communication abilities to present insights to leadership and stakeholders.

You will collaborate across departments, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive performance improvements in a fast-paced consulting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA or CFA certification strongly preferred.
• X years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial goals and objectives.
• Manage the financial close process and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
