Job summary

SUNY Fredonia invites a strategic Vice President for Finance, Administration, and Infrastructure to join its Cabinet. The VPFAI will steward financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and revenue management while guiding facilities, infrastructure, and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Chosen candidate will lead in a unionized public higher education setting, partnering with the President and campus leadership to advance fiscal stability, strategic priorities, and service excellence

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of public higher education and governance structures.
• Ability to lead within a large state university system and unionized workforce.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the President and provide strategic leadership for the division.
• Oversee budget development, financial planning, accounting and revenue management.
• Provide oversight of campus operations, facilities planning, maintenance, and infrastructure.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, wellness, sustainability, and recruitment initiatives.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop divisional staff with a focus on accountability and growth.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement multi-year fiscal stability plans and external advocacy.
