Job summary

The ODP Group is looking for a Category Merchant at our Boca Raton, FL HQ. This role is responsible for executing category strategies that drive sales, margin, and market share across all channels while leading a team of Category Assistants.

Your expertise in merchandising, strong leadership abilities, and strategic insights will be essential in driving successful vendor relationships and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or Merchandising.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in merchandising, category management, or retail strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategy including assortment, pricing, and promotions.
• Own vendor relationships including negotiations and performance management.
• Lead and develop Category Assistant(s) for execution excellence.
• Drive pricing and promotional strategy including competitive positioning.
• Lead forecasting and inventory strategy including demand planning.
• Own assortment planning and SKU lifecycle management.
