Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Strategic Analytics Associate to impact credit risk management for the cards portfolio. You will lead end-to-end analytics initiatives, influence strategic decisions, and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor risks, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while guiding the strategic direction of the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in credit cards risk management.
• Strong analytic, interpretive and problem solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into practical solutions and concise presentations.
• A degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, OR Operations Research).
• Independently make decisions with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive analytics to measure and challenge key business initiatives and independently generate solutions.
• Provide thought leadership and drive end-to-end initiatives, defining problems, risks, opportunities, and stakeholder buy-in.
• Work with multiple teams to identify performance trends using statistical and data mining methods.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Prepare and present risk monitoring reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Support the development and maintenance of the company’s risk management framework and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and credit risk best practices to improve processes.
