Job summary

Qnity Electronics is seeking a Capital Procurement Buyer to drive sourcing of capital equipment and services across North America. You will partner with the Capital Procurement Lead, Category Managers, and project teams to optimize total cost of ownership and ensure timely procurement execution.

Responsibilities include supplier qualification and onboarding in SAP, master agreement development, early stakeholder engagement, and expediting orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 3 years minimum procurement experience, preferably in capital or industrial sourcing.
• Experience with master agreements and supplier qualification.
• Familiarity with project management and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• CPSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Capital Procurement Execution: Manage sourcing and procurement activities for capital equipment and services at North America sites.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage early with stakeholders to align procurement with project requirements and timelines; serve as procurement representative on project teams.
• Operational Support: Ensure prompt processing of approved requisitions into purchase orders; confirm PO receipt with suppliers and manage order expediting; coordinate with Logistics and Accounts Payable.
• Supplier Management: Identify and qualify suppliers; facilitate new supplier setup in SAP; monitor supplier performance; apply TCO and lifecycle cost analysis in supplier selection.
• Process Improvement & Training: Contribute to procurement metrics; participate in training; assist in RFQ/RFP and supplier qualification procedures.
