Job summary

Evonik is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to coordinate production planning and inventory control across multiple sites in the United States. The role requires close collaboration with Production, Procurement, Logistics and Sales to align forecasts with capacity and material availability.

Responsibilities include managing S&OP processes, monitoring demand, and supporting continuous improvements in planning systems and processes. Experience with SAP and IBP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of Supply Chain experience or 10+ years with high school diploma/GED.
• Strong Excel skills to analyze and interpret data.
• Experience with SAP and supply chain planning systems.
• Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop production and demand plans to meet customer needs.
• Manage inventory, raw materials, capacity, and supply across multiple sites.
• Monitor forecasts, shortages, and daily supply chain needs; communicate issues.
