Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of materials demand planning experience.
• Oracle or other ERP system experience required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with different functional groups to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business unit inventory, including returns evaluation, alignment, execution, reconciliation, and projections.
• Address product life cycle strategy for obsolescence and new introductions.
• Provide metrics on forecast accuracy, timeliness, and inventory exposure.
• Establish a spares strategy for new and existing suppliers and inventories.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to forecast and place orders.
• Resolve discrepancies between products ordered and forecasted.
• Drive demand to preferred suppliers with strategic sourcing.
• Analyze excess and obsolete materials for monthly/quarterly/annual cycles.
• Develop streamlined forecast-to-order processes with strong controls.
