Job summary

Lumenier/GetFPV is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage purchasing and material planning for manufacturing, distribution, and new product introductions. The role converts forecasts and inventory data into timely supply actions, ensuring materials and components are available in the right quantity at the right time while optimizing cost.

You will own PO execution, supplier communication, and inventory planning, collaborating with engineering, quality, finance, and production to sustain supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent education/experience.
• 3–5 years hands‑on experience in purchasing, material planning, inventory management, or related supply chain role.
• Experience in international sourcing a plus; aerospace/defense exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, release, manage, and close purchase orders; handle blanket agreements as needed.
• Analyze demand forecasts, schedules, and inventory to determine material requirements.
• Coordinate supplier quotes, lead times, terms, and freight; resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Manage backorders and supply constraints; communicate risks and recovery plans promptly.
• Track inventory status, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities; support continuous improvement.
