Job summary

Compunetics, Inc. is seeking an individual to plan, direct, and coordinate the procurement, inventory, and movement of materials to support organizational operations.

You will prepare RFQs and purchase orders, source new suppliers, negotiate prices, and collaborate with approved suppliers for best price, quality and delivery. You’ll liaise between suppliers, customers and internal account management, planning and production, coordinate semi-annual uniform orders, maintain department work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years purchasing/supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP, planning, expediting, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs and Purchase Orders and submit to suppliers.
• Source and develop new suppliers.
• Negotiate prices.
• Collaborate with approved suppliers for best price, quality and delivery.
• Liaise between suppliers, customers and internal teams (account management, planning, production).
• Coordinate semi-annual uniform orders.
• Maintain department work instructions.
• Maintain daily inventory cycle counts.
• Supervise and oversee Shipping/Receiving Department.
