Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd is hiring a Buyer to manage day-to-day procurement execution for plant and regional Operations. You will execute approved global and regional category strategies, maintain contract and purchasing compliance, and ensure material and service availability at target cost, quality, and delivery.

Role emphasizes disciplined procure-to-pay processes, supplier follow-through, shortage resolution, data integrity, and coordinated inventory actions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing, materials, supply chain or manufacturing customer-service experience.
• Proficient with Excel and ERP purchasing processes (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).
• Ability to analyze supplier delivery, open orders, inventory and cost data, establish priorities, and communicate escalations effectively.
• Strong ethics, ownership, attention to detail, service mindset, collaboration across multiple plant priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary purchasing execution partner for designated facilities and Operations leadership; understand production schedules and impact on regional results.
• Execute sourcing strategies, negotiated contracts, approved supplier lists, pricing, and specifications established by Global/Regional Category leadership.
• Collaborate daily with Operations, Planning, Inventory, Quality, Finance/AP and Category Management; maintain clear escalation paths.
• Procure-to-pay discipline: convert demand into PO, confirm terms, monitor open orders through receipt and closure.
• Contract and policy compliance: use approved suppliers and flag off-contract pricing or duplicates for resolution.
• Supplier performance: maintain delivery data, support corrective actions, and implement scorecards for top suppliers.
