Job summary

Ideal candidates have a four-year degree in Business or Engineering and 5-7 years of experience, with fluency in English and willingness to travel ~10%.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Business (Supply Chain Management or Purchasing preferred) or four-year degree in Engineering (Product or Manufacturing)
• 5-7 years of experience preferred
• Understands drawings and technical specifications
• Willing to travel as required (estimate 10%)
• Strong PC skills including MS Office
• Complies to Ethics policy and upholds ethical conduct
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Execute strategy for the assigned commodities
• Lead supplier re-sourcing and VAVE projects
• Support cost reduction activities aligned with targets
• Understand Dana's standard Terms and Conditions
• Manage multiple projects to meet timing and PPAP/launch
• Monitor technical review progress with cross-functional teams
• Drive and track savings, report forecasts and actuals
• Promote cost reduction with key suppliers and share best practices
• Present results to Dana management as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
