Job description

Evio is a highly unique pharmacy solutions company founded to work closely with health plans on transformative initiatives focused on specialty and high-cost medications.

In 2020, five Blue Cross Blue Shield health plans serving over 20 million members recognized the need for significant reform in medication delivery due to rising costs and system complexities. By 2025, Wellmark joined as Evio's first non-founding investor, alongside other health plans, establishing Evio as an independent entity with a shared mission.

With six major investor health plans and access to over 25 million members, Evio offers advanced analytics, contracting capabilities, and a suite of digital tools to support high-cost medication solutions. Our approach creates a self-reinforcing "flywheel" that strengthens each element and fosters a unique mindset of "Only Evio can do that."

Evio emphasizes a strong culture centered on its core values:

  • Empathy: Prioritizing the needs of patients, teammates, and healthcare providers.
  • Diversity: Valuing varied backgrounds and ideas to foster an inclusive environment.
  • Adventure: Embracing ambiguity, rapid iteration, and celebrating successes and pivots.
  • Relentless: Driven by data, creativity, and a challenge to the status quo.
  • Transparency: Committed to open, authentic communication and integrity.
  • Excellence: Striving for high standards through talent development and quality.

About the Role:

The Strategic Business Partner, reporting to the CEO, will support senior leadership in evaluating new initiatives, improving business performance, and understanding the organization. This role involves strategic thinking, storytelling, project management, and operational involvement, requiring deep healthcare knowledge, familiarity with the pharmacy value chain, and the ability to connect diverse business areas.

This position will enable leaders to prioritize effectively and will provide a unique perspective on all key projects. Successful candidates often advance into key operational roles within Evio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support organizational performance and strategic initiatives aligned with your skills.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for service line improvements.
  • Assess performance against goals, develop financial models, and support budget discussions.
  • Collaborate on strategic leadership, including preparing materials for board and leadership meetings.
  • Lead assessments, business case development, and communications for new initiatives.
  • Identify new opportunities through industry research and stakeholder conversations.
  • Contribute to special projects, adding strategic insight and organizational support.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in Strategy and Management Consulting, preferably in healthcare or working with health plans.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, financial modeling, and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Healthcare expertise, with Rx value chain experience preferred.
  • Experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related; Master’s preferred.

Our Commitment:

We value diversity, innovation, and a patient-first approach. We seek candidates who align with our mission, demonstrate resilience, leadership, emotional intelligence, and thrive in ambiguity.

Compensation:

Base salary: $150,000-$175,000 plus performance-based variable pay. We offer comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) match, flexible time off, and parental leave.

Equal Opportunity:

We are committed to an inclusive workplace, providing equal employment opportunities and prohibiting discrimination of any kind.
