Job summary

Summit Logo seeks a Business Portfolio Manager to support commercial lending in the Cedarburg/Greater Milwaukee area. You will assist in information gathering, monitor loan performance, underwrite and document loans, and partner with BRMs to implement the origination strategy for optimal financing structures.

You will manage assigned portfolios and ensure accurate processing and strong member service. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance and 3+ years in banking or credit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Three or more years of experience in business services/banking as credit analyst, portfolio manager, or relationship manager; or combination of applicable work experience and education.
• Professional, well‑developed interpersonal skills essential for interacting with credit union staff and members.
• Well‑developed mathematical skills.
• Ability to work accurately with figures and perform detailed work with an extremely high degree of precision.
• Knowledge of business loan processing and servicing.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations that govern member business lending.
• Ability to interpret and follow written policies.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi‑task, while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and intermediate knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide portfolio support to the Business Relationship Managers by assisting in gathering critical information and monitoring loan performance.
• Underwrite and document business loans assigned by VP Market Manager.
• Collaborate with market's BRMs to execute commercial loan origination strategy with prospects and COIs.
• Manage portfolio credit risk, capacity to repay, collateral adequacy, and loan covenants.
• Handle inquiries, resolve issues with deposits and loans, and ensure excellent member service.
