Job summary

Orange County Public Schools is seeking a Senior Executive Director to lead the Office of Management and Budget, guiding annual district budgets and treasury functions. You will oversee forecasting, fund balance, and financial systems, while supervising staff and ensuring compliance with district goals.

The role requires a CPA or related master’s degree and at least seven years in accounting/finance with supervisory experience, preferably in a governmental or school district setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field from an accredited institution.
• CPA or master’s degree preferred.
• Seven (7) years of accounting, finance, or budget experience including three (3) years supervisory.
• Experience in a school district or governmental agency using governmental accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budget calendars and timelines.
• Direct revenue and appropriations forecasts for districts and programs.
• Oversee cash and investment management operations.
• Supervise and develop district staff in budgeting and financial processes.
• Provide strategic oversight of SAP and related financial systems.
