Job summary

The Food Safety and Inspection Service Budget Division (OCFO) seeks a Director to establish policy and oversee FSIS' budgetary and fiscal responsibilities. This leadership role directs budget formulation, execution, and cost analysis to support mission success.

Candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements for promotion and bring specialized experience with OBPA and Congressional staff, along with the ability to develop annual and multi-year plans that align to organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience formulating and executing a budget to enable continuous operations in support of the mission.
• Ability to develop annual and multi-year plans aligned to organizational objectives.
• Experience working with Office of Budget and Program Analysis (OBPA) and Congressional staff.
• Time-in-grade eligibility and advancement requirements for federal employees.
