Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• At least three years of progressively responsible experience in budget preparation, financial analysis, or related accounting work.
• Familiarity with governmental budgeting standards and higher education budgeting practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, consolidating, and maintaining the University's annual operating and capital budgets.
• Analyze departmental budget requests and recommend adjustments to support compliance with University policies and fiscal goals.
• Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and prepare monthly and quarterly management reports.
• Prepare financial analyses, forecasts, and expenditure projections for short- and long-term planning.
• Assist departments with budget revisions, allocations, and expense reconciliations.
• Prepare budget schedules and supporting documentation for audits and external reports.
