Job summary

Hunden Partners is seeking a Business Development Analyst to support proposal development, client communications, and the creation of high-quality business development materials in Chicago. You’ll work with senior team members to craft proposals, presentations, and qualification packages reflecting the firm’s expertise.

Responsibilities include managing proposal efforts from start to finish, maintaining resources, coordinating deadlines, and supporting client and industry engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in proposal development or marketing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Familiarity with CRM and project management tools such as monday.com and OneDrive.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign and Acrobat preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft, finalize, and produce materials for proposals, bids, interview presentations, conference and speaking engagements, and qualifications packages
• Maintain and update key personnel resumes, biographies, and qualifications lists for use in proposals and presentations
• Collaborate with the SVP of Business Development and Strategic Growth to ensure all proposal assets are current, accurate, and aligned with Hunden’s standards
• Interact with existing and potential clients through email, in-person meetings, and video conferences, ensuring clear and effective communication
• Notate and summarize minutes and key points from proposal/lead calls, pre-bid meetings, interviews, and project kickoff meetings
• Organize notes, proposals, and other assets using CRM and project management tools, including monday.com and OneDrive
• Ensure proposals and deliverables meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Represent Hunden Partners at industry conferences, trade shows, and events throughout the year and participate in project kickoff site visits as needed.
• Continuously seek ways to improve proposal development processes and support overall development efforts
