Job summary

PGI is a leading supplier in automotive private label solutions, seeking a procurement/production support role. You will coordinate shop orders, manage inventory levels, and communicate priorities across supervisors and the plant manager to keep schedules on track.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in manufacturing, with a high school diploma and associates degree preferred, and a focus on safety, quality, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate department efforts to meet ship dates and maintain inventory levels.
• Generate shop orders and materials for all assigned work centers.
• Communicate priorities to Supervisors, Tactical Purchasing Agent, and Plant Manager.
• Report inventory discrepancies for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support policies related to safety and environment.
• Review projected fill rate to identify root causes and actions.
• Communicate product availability dates to Customer Service.
• May create purchase orders daily to meet production schedules.
