Job summary

Macy's is seeking an Associate, Assortment Planner to support the strategic development and execution of buying frameworks within a designated category. You will partner with cross-functional teams to align with financial objectives and drive category performance through pre-market, in-market, and post-market activities.

The role focuses on developing Private Brand line plans, optimizing assortment breadth/depth, and contributing to style outs and allocations with a data-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities for assortment planning.
• Experience with private brand line plans and market analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop and execute the buying framework for the designated category.
• Analyze pre-market, in-market and post-market activities and adjust plans.
• Assist in Private Brand line plans and align with store and market trends.
• Support allocation process and Min/Max at the Style level.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet financial targets.
• Prepare for market appointments and finalize the shopping list.
