New York State Energy Research and Development Authority seeks an Assistant Treasurer & Controller to oversee financial operations at New York Institute of Technology. The role requires a strategic leader with a proficient background in accounting and finance, managing campus finance functions.

Successful candidates will have a passion for financial stewardship and experience in a nonprofit or higher education context. A hybrid position is offered requiring onsite presence 3-4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience including 5 years supervising over 10 employees.
• Non-profit financial experience required; preference for higher education.
• Must provide high degree of confidentiality and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee financial operations and reporting for university campuses.
• Manage accounting and finance staff across various functions.
• Implement and monitor financial modeling tools with budget office.
