Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an Analyst for Commercial Asset Optimization to identify opportunities to improve asset utilization and maximize value across NGL, refined products, petrochemical, and related systems. You will translate data into actionable recommendations that support throughput, reliability, and logistics efficiency.

Work with Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Scheduling, and Project Development teams to develop economic analyses, build business cases, and advance optimization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field (engineering, business, finance, economics, or analytics).
• 1–5 years of experience in midstream, refining, petrochemical, industrial gas, energy, consulting, analytics, or related industries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with data analysis and financial modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze asset utilization, throughput, inventory, and market data to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop economic evaluations, sensitivity analyses, and financial models to support project development.
• Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Engineering, Scheduling, and Business Development teams to gather data and assess constraints.
• Prepare presentations and reports for management and key stakeholders.
