Job summary

Hydro-Thermal Corporation seeks an Applications Engineering Supervisor to lead the Applications Engineering team, translating customer requirements into properly sized Hydro-Thermal solutions. You will guide sizing, configuration, and documentation, while coordinating with Product Development, Project Engineering, and Sales to secure reliable, margin-friendly outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical, or related engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Five+ years in applications engineering, product engineering, or related industrial roles; supervisory experience preferred.
Strong planning, prioritization, delegation, coaching, problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop Applications Engineers; set expectations for performance and growth.
Own sizing, configuration, and application of Hydro-Thermal products; ensure design guidelines and standards are followed.
Lead the technical portion of quote development; support sales with technical discovery and troubleshooting.
Maintain and improve the Applications Engineering workflow from intake to handoff to execution.
Lead laboratory governance and ensure safety, organization, and process discipline in the lab.
Provide input to pricing and costings; identify risks and escalation paths.
