Job summary

BARNHART is seeking a Strategic Analyst in Memphis to translate complex, multi-variable business problems into decision-grade tools, risk assessments, and forecasts. The role applies statistical modeling to support leadership decisions on risk exposure, financial and operational forecasting, and other strategic questions under uncertainty.

You'll partner with Operations and Finance to build durable, auditable tools that enable repeatable decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in statistical modeling, forecasting, risk analysis, or quantitative decision support.
• Experience developing forecasting models, risk assessments, or analytical frameworks for business decisions.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SQL, Power BI, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Build interactive tools and dashboards to enable non-technical stakeholders to apply models consistently.
• Document model logic, assumptions, and data sources for transparency and auditability.
• Own ongoing accuracy, validation, and refinement of analytical tools in production.
• Design, maintain structured risk-scoring tools translating risk drivers into defensible ratings.
• Develop and maintain statistical forecasting models for key financial and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance leadership and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.
