The ideal candidate has 10+ years in clinical informatics, deep expertise in AI/ML and NLP, and the ability to translate complex clinical concepts for executives.

Qualifications

• Must hold a clinical licensure or advanced degree in Clinical Informatics with hands-on quality experience.
• 10+ years in clinical informatics or related analytics with hospital ranking experience.
• 5+ years building data pipelines/ML models in Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow); strong SQL and Python.
• Experience applying AI/ML and NLP to clinical/claims data for gap detection.
• Ability to translate clinical nuance into data science problems and influence executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate AI/ML and rules-based algorithms to close documentation and coding gaps.
• Identify care-process gaps affecting benchmarked outcomes and ranking metrics.
• Collaborate with CDI, coding, quality, IT to implement interventions.
• Develop Databricks data pipelines and feature stores for integrated EHR/claims data.
• Present findings to physician leadership and executives.
