Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort is seeking a Director of Planning and Analysis to perform analytical work supporting forecasting, budgeting, and daily operating reporting. The role involves in-depth research, data compilation, and persuasive reporting for senior management.

You will lead a team of analysts, partner with the VP of Finance, and drive strategic initiatives across hotel yield, casino promotions, and marketing analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ financial analysis experience within casino operational industry or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly strategy meetings and provide analysis for key initiatives.
• Collaborate with Executive Management to ensure comprehensive, cohesive analysis.
• Manage property-wide data dissemination using a Business Intelligence tool.
• Supervise a team of financial and labor analysts, allocating tasks and mentoring.
• Provide practical recommendations to increase casino traffic and revenue.
